“ The older Asian lady who runs this place is the best. She's super sweet and kind and out of all the hangry joes in the area, I like this one the best. The food is amazing, the portions are great, and the customer service is top notch. It's kinda of hidden in the middle of a strip mall that doesn't get a ton of foot traffic, but this place really shines. I actually come back to Wheaton sometimes just to stop in here, because I like this location better than one much closer to my house. ”

“ It was my first time trying Hangry Joe’s! I saw all the awesome reviews and had to try it out! I went to pick something small and quick and got their chicken fingers/tenders! I got them in mild. I also got Thai tea! The Thai Tea taste amazing and refreshing and the chicken tenders are delicious. Their sauce and the addition of pickles makes it even more amazing! Will definitely be ordering again ”

“ The best places for lunch are the ones we find by accident. I was very close by and was hungry for a good sandwich. I would not call myself a Nashville Hot Chicken expert, but I know what I like. I like Hangry Joe’s. This place is awesome. The neighborhood is three stars tops- but get inside and be inspired with spice. I order the Mega Sando combo and asked for “hot”. The very helpful young lady behind the counter asked me to confirm I liked spice. I did. Then two guys sitting in the dining room were talking and asked me if I liked spice because the medium spice level was kicking their butts. It turned out that hot was excellent and exactly what I wanted. The spice was on point. I must confess I was glad to encounter the pickles in various bites. They have a welcome relief and variety of texture. The cider slaw is also excellent. The unsung hero on the tray is the sauce that is there for your waffle fries. It is delicious and not too salty. The interior is very plain but effective- nice restrooms. Everyone was helpful and the place was spotless. Parking is mostly easy and right outside. This is a must visit spot and highly recommended. ”
